This presentation opened discussions about what it means to be kind and why it is important using the book "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?". In 1st grade, students filled in worksheets with 3 ways they can show kindness. In 2nd grade students classified and discussed actions that are examples of bucket filling (kindness) and bucket dipping (unkindness).
